Stairs Journey

“Stairs Journey” unfolds as a passage rather than a destination. Set along an exterior stairway and enveloped by branches and leaves, the mural accompanies the viewer in motion, revealing itself step by step. The composition shifts across surfaces, wrapping columns, walls, and landings in a continuous flow that mirrors the act of ascent and descent. Color transitions suggest changing states, while the surrounding greenery weaves the work into its natural context. The staircase becomes a connective spine, linking levels, directions, and moments of pause within a living environment. At the heart of “Stairs Journey” is the idea of movement as a form of connection. Each step marks a small transition, echoing the way growth unfolds through gradual change rather than sudden arrival. The dialogue between the built structure and the organic presence of trees and leaves reinforces a sense of interdependence, where human pathways and natural systems coexist and influence one another. The mural invites reflection on journeys that are physical, emotional, and temporal, reminding us that progress is made through accumulation, and that every step, however small, participates in a larger, shared rhythm.
