Together we are infinite II

This is the behind the scenes of the 2nd photograph of my project ‘Together we are infinite’. The project entails that every time I paint a mural in a public space, I then use the mural as a background to produce a photograph of different expressions of art that are representative to the city. The images of this project are for sale, and the sales benefit a local foundation that promotes the arts in each city. This 2nd photograph was produced in Cali-Colombia. The mural used as background is titled ‘Cali Blooms’ and is on a historical building in the city center. The mural was inspired in the soil fertility of Cali and in a famous salsa song called ‘Las caleñas son como las flores’ [Women from Cali are like flowers] from the author Jorge Ospina. This photograph was done together with two excellent salsa dancers, Camilo Zamora and Jisel Rengifo. Photograph details: Title: ‘Life is a Dance’ Limited edition of 8 + 1AP Archival pigment ink on museum grade photo paper 17” X 22” The sales of this photograph benefit a local foundation in Cali called Tecnocentro Cultural Somos Pacifico.
