The origin of this work lies in a single encounter with a Coreid Bug Nymph in 2020. I was struck not only by its vibrant colors but by its physical structure, which appeared to be composed entirely of simple dots and lines. That moment sparked an endless study of form and connection. It transformed the way I perceived the world around me.

In this series, the insect is disassembled into its most fundamental building blocks. This process strips away the literal image to reveal a structural skeleton of perception. By reducing the subject to its units and links, the work acts as an origin statement. It is not a depiction of a creature, but an exploration of the underlying architecture that governs life.

To mirror this search for the essential, the palette is returned to its primary state: red, blue, and yellow. Supported by black and white, these colors embrace the full spectrum of possibility. The series serves as an investigation into DNA and the fundamental code that defines us. It reminds us that while our experiences make us unique, we are all woven from the same primordial thread.
