This photograph was created in Havana, Cuba, in front of the mural Nature Finds a Way. The mural is located at Malecón and Galiano, was painted for the 15th Havana Biennial, and was inspired by nature’s resilience to thrive under any condition. The photograph “Art in the Veins” features art critic and curator Dannys Montes de Oca with her daughters, Lía Zugasa Montes de Oca (oboist) and Lis Zugasa Montes de Oca (violinist). A portion of the sales from this limited edition print will benefit a Cuban foundation dedicated to promoting the arts (to be determined).
